Binding Prohibition LIFTED: Hurricane Laura

-

- Advertisment -

In addition to Florida and Georgia, the property binding restriction due to Hurricane Laura has also been lifted in Alabama, Mississippi and Texas.

Because our policies are effective at 12:01 a.m. at the mailing address of the named insured, you should not accept any binder for a Florida or Georgia location with a date prior to August 25, 2020, and for Alabama, Mississippi and Texas, prior to August 28, 2020. Any exceptions to this rule will need to be submitted to your underwriter for approval.

As a reminder, our binding prohibition did not extend to renewals. We will honor the terms we quoted. Because your customers may have offices closed, loss of phone, etc., make sure you refer any renewals that are requesting backdate to your underwriter. Read more >>
