Nonprofits Affected By Contractual Requirements and How We Can Help

There has been an increasing demand for organizations to carry higher limits of insurance to meet contractual requirements or lease requirements. Emerging issues create a greater demand for protection, such as social inflation, court decisions, nuclear verdicts and catastrophic losses. The marketplace has shifted due to the changing legal environment, and many carriers are reducing limits, restricting coverage and getting out of certain classes of business altogether. This creates an opportunity to write new accounts and classes of business that have never had umbrella coverage in place previously.

USLI can write over other carriers with a minimum of B++ rating. We can write umbrella coverage over general liability, directors and officers (USLI), automobile liability, professional liability, host liquor liability, sexual abuse liability and employer’s liability.

Excess Abuse and Molestation and Professional (Errors and Omissions):

  • We can provide excess abuse and molestation limits up to $2 million over USLI’s social service, sports and charity/business association classes of business
    • Up to $1 million in excess abuse and molestation for risks with a youth focus
  • We can provide excess pastoral professional (errors and omissions) liability for houses of worship and social service opportunities up to an additional $5 million
