We have expanded our binding prohibition to include the entire state of Georgia. Please see below for the complete list of counties and states included.
Effective immediately, we have implemented a property binding restriction for the following:
- Alabama counties: Henry, Dale, Coffee, Geneva, Covington, Escambia, Baldwin and Mobile
- The state of Georgia
- The state of Florida
Our underwriting guides prohibit the binding of any new business that includes property or inland marine or the increasing of any property or inland marine limit on an in-force policy written near an imminent catastrophe. These rules will remain in force until notice is given that the prohibition has been lifted.
During this period, we will accept binders for all renewals at the limits and terms in our renewal quote.
