We honor our veterans each November 11 to thank them for their service, sacrifice and for the freedoms that we enjoy the privilege of having in this country. With the sacrifices our veterans make comes long-term consequences and hardships. Many struggle with ongoing mental health issues, financial hardships, housing issues and difficulty returning to civilian life.
