Effective immediately, the binding prohibition in place due to the Hughes, Palisades and Eaton fires has been lifted in all zip codes.
Because our policies are effective at 12:01 a.m. at the mailing address of the named insured, you should not accept any binder for a risk located in the above locations with a date prior to Monday, January 27, 2025.
As a reminder, our binding prohibition did not extend to renewals. We will honor the terms we quoted. Because your customers may have offices closed, loss of phone, etc., make sure you refer any renewals that are requesting backdate to your underwriter.
