Bakers: Bakeries where baking is done at the primary home or temporarily at a commercial kitchen. The applicant cannot have a storefront location, but baking off premises due to state health regulations or other reasons is acceptable. A wide variety of products are offered including, breads, cakes, cookies, pies, rolls, doughnuts, dog treats, etc. Bakers may also sell decorating materials.
Candy and Nut Confections: Merchandise includes hard sugar candies, creams, jellies, nougats, marshmallows, fudge, caramels, licorice, chocolates, chocolate-coated candies and other novelty candies. Candies are sold on premises, in vending machines, through fund raisers, via mail order or at trade shows and fairs.
Dry Food Products and Mixes: Merchandise includes hot chocolate, cake mixes and teas. Normally prepackaged products are combined into gift baskets or resold individually. Also eligible are BBQ sauces and hot sauces, jellies and jams, syrups, honey and powdered drink mixes (any product that contains alcohol is not eligible).
