The binding authority restriction in place as a result of the Blue Ridge and Silverado fires is being lifted for all ZIP codes involved: 92886, 92887, 91709, 92821, 92823, 92602, 92618 and 92620.
It is okay to accept binders on new business or increased limits on policies on risks in those ZIP codes effective today.
As a reminder, our binding prohibition does not extend to renewals. We will honor the terms we quoted. Because your customers may have offices closed, loss of phone, etc., make sure you refer any renewals that are requesting backdate to your underwriter.
