Our underwriting guides prohibit the binding of any new business that includes property or inland marine or the increasing of any property or inland marine limit on an in-force policy written near an imminent catastrophe. These rules will remain in force until notice is given that the prohibition has been lifted.

There is potential for serious loss from a number of fires currently burning in California and Colorado. Please see the list of affected ZIP codes in these areas:

Effective immediately, any risk located within 10 miles of a mandatory evacuation area and any risk located within 10 miles of an active fire line should be referred to your underwriter for a binder or increased limits.

During this period, we will accept binders for all renewals at the limits and terms in our renewal quote.
