This is the time of year when we see a spike in losses due to warming fires. These are fires started by trespassers to warm themselves against dropping temperatures. They tend to spread rapidly if there is trash or other debris in and around the area of the warming fire.
Owners should protect their assets by keeping a close watch on their buildings. They should visit their locations frequently to confirm they are locked and secured to stop illegal entry and prevent subsequent damage.
