Effective immediately, the binding prohibition in place due to Gifford Fire has been lifted in 93013, 93254, 93420, 93453 and 93454.
Because our policies are effective at 12:01 a.m. at the mailing address of the named insured, you should not accept any binder for a risk located in the above location(s) with a date prior to August 18, 2025.
As a reminder, our binding prohibition did not extend to renewals. We will honor the terms we quoted. Because your customers may have offices closed, loss of phone, etc., make sure you refer any renewals that are requesting backdate to your underwriter.
