  5. Loyal Order of Moose: The Loyal Order of Moose is a fraternal service organization that strives to better the community through programs and services that support local youth. There are over 2,400 lodges across all 50 states, with membership exceeding 1 million.
  6. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF): The IOOF is one of the oldest fraternal organizations in the world, tracing its roots back to 55 A.D. There are approximately 10,000 lodges globally, with over 600,000 members. This organization focuses on making the world a better place by promoting charity, peace and universal justice. The IOOF spends over $775 million annually in relief projects alone.
  7. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks: The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks focuses its mission on charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity to recognize a belief in God, promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members, quicken the spirit of American patriotism, cultivate good fellowship, perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization and provide for its government. There are over 850,000 members and 2,000 lodges worldwide.
  8. Masonic lodges: A masonic lodge is the organized unit of Freemasonry. The varieties of masonic lodges across the nation are made up of over 3 million members.
  9. Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA): OSIA is the largest and oldest national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the U.S. It was founded in 1905 as a mutual aid society for early Italian immigrants. Today, OSIA has hundreds of thousands of family members located in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, making it the leading service and advocacy organization for the nation’s estimated 26 million people of Italian descent. Its missions include encouraging the study of Italian language and culture in American schools and universities; preserving Italian American traditions, culture, history and heritage; and promoting closer cultural relations between the U.S. and Italy.
  10. Fraternal Order of Eagles: The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international nonprofit uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice and equality to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. Membership exceeds 800,000, with more than 1,500 local Aeries in the U.S. and Canada. Women’s auxiliaries total more than 1,300.
