Personal Umbrella Recent Changes

Are you up to date with our Personal Umbrella product?  

You may be aware that USLI has made some recent changes to this product, but we wanted to provide you with a recap of some of our most recent changes and how we can help. 

We have lowered the underlying auto requirements in 12 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

In addition, our Personal Umbrella product continues to provide a number of coverage features and value to your clients:

  • Excess UM/UIM limits up to $1 million
  • Drop-down coverage for non-owned watercraft and recreational vehicles in the U.S., and non-owned auto liability outside the U.S.
  • Ability to write named insureds in a trust, estate, LLC or family partnership
  • Personal injury buyback endorsement available
  • Additional insureds at no additional premium
  • Ability to quote and bind on the web
  • A++ stability
  • Non-admitted options available in most states if underlying auto limit requirements cannot be met
