Binding Prohibition – Apple Fire

-

- Advertisment -

We are thinking of you, your customers, your families and those in your office currently in the affected wildfire areas.

Our underwriting guides prohibit the binding of any new business that includes property or inland marine or the increasing of any property or inland marine limit on an in-force policy written near an imminent catastrophe. These rules will remain in force until notice is given that the prohibition has been lifted.

There is potential for serious loss from the Apple fire currently burning in California. Effective immediately, all requests in ZIP codes 92220, 92223, 92268 and 92399, any risk located within 10 miles of a mandatory evacuation area and any risk located within 10 miles of an active fire line should be referred to your underwriter for a binder or increased limits.

During this period, we will accept binders for all renewals at the limits and terms in our renewal quote.

We trust that you will be safe, and we thank you for your attention to this matter.
