The binding authority restriction in place as a result of the Apple fire is being lifted for all impacted zip codes: 92220, 92223, 92268 and 92399.
It is ok to accept binders on new business or increased limits on policies on risks in those zip codes effective today.
As a reminder, our binding prohibition does not extend to renewals. We will honor the terms we quoted. Because your customers may have offices closed, loss of phone, etc., make sure you refer any renewals that are requesting backdate to your Underwriter.
